Marketing & Event Updates

  • Fall visit to US Postal Service Vehicle Engineering Offices in Merrifield, VA.  USPS saw and drove EcoV Proof-of-Concept.  EcoV was the first and only Low Speed Vehicle (LSV) product they have seen that is roadworthy, weather-worthy and crashworthy.  They are eager to see a production EcoV postal delivery vehicle before committing to testing and ordering.  There could be a need for 40,000 postal EcoV’s over the next 10 years.

  • Visit to The Villages in Lady Lakes, FL.  A group from The Villages invited us down to discuss what they wanted in a Low Speed Recreational Vehicle (LSRV) or a street legal golf cart and more.  They were impressed with EcoV and interested in seeing a production version before placing advanced orders.  There was a large group that thought EcoV could replace their 1st or 2nd golf cart (Yes, this is a community of 70,000 people that own 40,000 golf carts!) and/or a 2nd car.
Events and shows in Detroit area.  Many events and many well wishes and good lucks.  An interesting event was the NextCruise as part of the Woodward Dream Cruise, a very large celebration of cars from yesterday.  NextCruise brought together “green” cars for the future, mostly today’s cars like hybrids, E85 dual fuel and high mileage diesels.  EcoV was the only roadworthy electric vehicle representing future technology

Investment News

  • We continue to work on getting the investment capital we need to start production.  We have been unable to reach today’s investors who prefer bio-tech, life science, health care and information technology.   Transportation and manufacturing are not on their list due to these other opportunities to “hit it big” with the next Google.  Good opportunities, high risks but of no help to us.
  • We are a $14M deal.  We have $6M in equity today.  We need less than $3M in capital to take EcoV to production. Then after starting, we need $5M in debt to expand production.
  • TELL YOUR FRIENDS and have them contact us for more information on investing.
  • We initiated a Direct Public Offering this Spring and tried to reach 40 individual investors to buy $2,000 minimum to show SEC (Securities Exchange Commission) that there was public interest.
  • Unfortunately, SEC does not approve of advertising of a public offering prior to registration and so we are now waiting for time to pass before re-looking at a DPO.  To all 80+ people who signed up to receive a Private Placement Memorandum, in first 3 weeks, I thank you!  I apologize.  Be assured there will be a time to buy stock in the future.

We need your help

  • We need you to get the word out about our company, EcoV and our need for “Green: Investors.”  We have been developing and evolving EcoV for 6 years, totally self funded
  • Pass this newsletter on to friends and family
  • We have taken extraordinary steps to reduce the risk to our customers, our investors, and our company.
  • We are different from other electric vehicle companies.  We do not need much capital to start production, breakeven on a low volume of EcoV’s, <2,000 per year; we have a realistic marketing approach that targets fleet managers who are hungry for the operational cost savings that EcoV can provide, and EcoV has a management team strongly experienced in automotive (from the Boardroom to showroom) that can bring EcoV to production in 9 months.  We have broken all the rules in low volume niche manufacturing.
